The Long Rot
A realistic first-person, open-world zombie survival game from my studio, Tensor Games. The world didn't end in an hour. It rotted away over years.

The Long Rot is the first title from Tensor Games, my independent game studio. It’s a first-person open-world survival game set years after the collapse: overgrown cities, abandoned highways, no cure and no military coming to help.
What it’s aiming for
- A world that decays. Dense, atmospheric places where nothing stays safe for long.
- Survival without hand-holding. Hunger, thirst, injury and exhaustion are tracked and felt, not gamified.
- A base that’s yours. Claim a place, build it up, and defend it.
- A horde that adapts. Enemy AI that hunts, scatters and remembers.
Where it stands
It’s in active development. There is no release date and no platform list, and there’s nothing to download yet. I’m building the world in Unity 6 with the Universal Render Pipeline, and some of the tooling uses my local AI setup. News lands on tensorgames.org first.
